With effect from 20.01.2007 the Transparency Guideline Implementation Act (TUG) came into
force. Accordingly, stock corporations must now publish company-relevant announcements, for
example directors’ dealings and voting rights announcements, throughout Europe. In addition
these announcements are also transferred to the corporate register (www.unternehmensregister.de).

The corporate register is the central administrative body for the storage of legally relevant corporate
data. Those interested in this data may view in an electronic form the Balda AG data which requires
publication.
