For over 100 years the Balda name has stood for innovation and advanced technology in both
the production process and the quality of its products. The company first started as a manu-
facturer of cameras, before moving on to  specialising in the processing of high-performance
plastics. Today Balda produces systems for mobile phones and the electronics market while the
Medical business unit manufactures solutions for the pharmaceutical, diagnostics and medical
technology markets.

 
Balda has developed in tandem with its dynamic customers. The Electronic Products business
unit, which is active in Malaysia, develops and produces products for both the communications
and entertainment electronics markets.
 
Both the solutions and markets serviced by the Balda business segments are different, and this
is why exchange and cooperation within the Group are extremely close with a cross-company
team coordinating the latest technologies, innovations and processes within the three areas.
